My journey both personal and professional has been anchored by family and friendship. I continue to be in awe with the calibre of the people around me. We started NG when we saw a gap in the market catering to a new wave of business owners who were coming onto the scene. We are passionate about our work at NumberGroup and wanted to build a business to support our drive and to share our knowledge with others. I love that every day I get to work with clients who are passionate about their businesses and are always looking ahead and striving for success. I’m proud that my team and I can communicate often complex matters in a user-friendly way. I love people and business planning, working closely with our clients makes coming to work everyday fun and enjoyable! People are often surprised to hear that I am a dad to 3 (soon to be 4) small humans. It goes without saying that I spend all my free time chasing kids and taking instructions from my wife. I am proud of the diverse makeup of our team. In our current climate, I see a real benefit in having staff from an array of backgrounds who are located across the globe. Modern technology has rewarded NumberGroup with the ‘best of the best in staff’, regardless of their physical location. We’re so excited about the future at NumberGroup!

NumberGroup started when Hairul and I met at college. We were both ambitious and ready for an adventure. We wanted to build our business around sustainable relationships with our clients and prioritise ethics, culture, and respect. We knew very early that the virtual world was a reality and we needed to be available to our clients whenever they needed help. We are proud to provide a unique experience to our clients where they can contact their accountant or our admin staff in real time and our team are 100% client focussed. We now have an office in Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, and the Philippines and continue to grow with our focus still on building trust and providing a niche service to our clients. I’ve lived in Canberra all my life and love that everything is 15 minutes away from me. It has a beautiful small town feel with all the convenience and glamour of city living. I love working with people from all walks of life and really appreciate how our clients use their life experience to build their businesses and we love watching our clients’ businesses grow. This has been particularly rewarding as it’s enabled our business and team to grow too.

As Practice Manager at NumberGroup, I’m best described as the superglue in our team. I work closely with the managing partners, clients, and our very focussed accounting team. I thrive in a fast-paced environment and I’m at my best when juggling a multitude of diverse tasks. I’m obsessed with staying organised and making my clients and colleagues lives easier. I’m the person people come to when they’re not sure what to do, and I love that detail in my job. We have a brilliant cohesive team where each of us play an integral part, working closely, ensuring our clients and each other are our top priority. It’s very transparent that we’re always striving to be at our best. I live in Melbourne and enjoy an active social life. I love spending time with my family and dining out with friends. I love my quiet times at home with my family, reading, sewing, or crafting. My guilty pleasure is watching K-Drama.

I work in the engine room of our business in Client Relations, Workflow and Project management. NumberGroup is a savvy and fast-growing accounting practice with a diverse team working seamlessly and remotely. I love working with people and enjoy their idiosyncrasies. I’m keen to see the solution inside a challenge and this is a key contributor to workflow and client management. I live in Gippsland, Victoria and I love that my rural outlook reminds me of my favourite film, Lord of the Rings. Originally from India, I’ve lived in Melbourne most of my life. My family and I live on 2 acres self-sufficiently, surrounded by 680 acres of dairy country.

I like to think that I’m a penny pincher! I enjoy keeping clients’ money in their pockets and away from the tax man, and I think that my clients appreciate me for it. I relish the diversity at NumberGroup, but the team would probably say that I’m the devil when it comes to my reviews of the Financial Statements, Tax Returns and Tax Advice we prepare for clients. Behind the scenes, I’m also the guy that enjoys researching new government legislation and regulations to keep our team and our clients up to date with all the latest developments. If we stick to stereotypes, I think that long hours and helping others is probably in my genes. Originally from Indonesia, I currently live in Coogee with the beach at my doorstep. Although this is very convenient in Summer, I do have to keep a close watch for tsunamis, pirates and Godzilla. In my free time I’m also a keen supporter of Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund, and I often find myself backing the dark horses of both the sports and business worlds.

No day is the same at NumberGroup and that’s a good thing! As a Senior Accountant, I love that each client brings something new to my work life. My clients demand topknotch accuracy and organizational skills and I deliver daily and consistently. I love getting to know my clients and I love that I am an integral part of their business and that my hard work set them up for success. It’s an exhilarating process which helps me stay motivated and productive. I’m an eternal optimist and I’m certain this gets me through tough periods of stress or change. Filipinos are well known for resiliency and adaptability, and we’re proud of our ability to withstand and recover quickly from difficult situations and create positive outcomes with our experience. We also love home cooked meals, so family down the road has many bonuses including meals on tap! If sleeping was a hobby, I think it would be my favourite one. I can’t get enough of it.

As an Accountant I am acutely aware of the important role I fulfill in my organisation. What sets NumberGroup apart from other Accounting practices is that my colleagues are genuinely interested in working with our clients and each other. I see it every day when my strength as an open and engaged communicator is mirrored daily by the rest of the team. As a Filipino, I view daily challenges as an opportunity to learn and the hurdle in my job is what makes achieving my goals fun and worthwhile. When I’m not working, I love playing my guitar and surprise people with my love of metal music.

I love being challenged and NumberGroup has consistently done this whilst nurturing me. As an Associate Accountant I have been given countless learning opportunities and wonderful friendships my colleagues generously share with me. I’m very detail oriented and understand how important my work is to my clients’ lives. I really value the teamwork in my organisation, we have a shared goal of valuing and respecting each other and our clients. My strong sense of ethics and integrity are a big part of my personality. I came to Australia when I was young, and the multi-cultural aspects of Australian life has really shaped me. I love living in Sydney and love going to the beach and parks with my son and husband. I love shopping, coffee, poke bowls and seafood. I tend rely on the weather for inspiration, when It’s hot I love the beach and a book when it’s cold I go for a walk or my favourite café.

As an Associate Accountant at NumberGroup, I love working closely with our clients. The diversity and individuality of each client makes every interaction enjoyable. I take pride in my role as a guardian, diligently monitoring and interpreting our client’s business performance, ensuring they stay on the right track and are set up to succeed. I love that my profession challenges me and allows me to evolve and learn. Every single day at NumberGroup provides new experiences. In my culture, we are taught to give our best in everything we do which is something I apply to my work. I always see to it that every job given to me is an opportunity for me to become the best at what I do and contributes to my goal of providing quality service to our clients. One thing I love about being a Filipino is our love for food. We are happy eaters. It is also our way of de-stressing. I am currently into Japanese food would love to go there someday to learn more about their cuisine.

Numbers have always intrigued me, which led me to pursue a career in Accounting. Working at NumberGroup provides me with more than just numerical satisfaction. It offers a platform for continuous learning and allows me to engage with a diverse range of people. I love how different all our clients are and the variety and fun they bring to my day. Outside of work my devotion to my furry friend knows no bounds. The well-being of my dog is a constant source of concern for me with my fiancé often teasing that I prioritise my dog's needs over everybody else’s. As a Filipino, aside from my dog I also love my food. My camera roll is full of screenshots of mouthwatering delicacies and mental notes on what to try next.

As an Associate Accountant at NumberGroup, I see myself playing a crucial role in the lives of our clients. My expertise gives our clients peace of mind to grow their business as they rely on my skills to prepare their financial records with accuracy. One of the many aspects I love about working at NumberGroup is our strong emphasis on client communication. Every team member is actively involved in engaging with our clients which sets us apart from a lot of other companies in this space. In my free time I love to visit my rural childhood home, getting out of the city and back home brings me much peace and joy. I also love Korean dramas and never miss a chance to dine out with friends or family whenever I can. I love trying different cafes as my current obsession is coffee!

As a Bookkeeper at NumberGroup, my days are busy and varied. I take care of our clients’ reconciliations, payroll management, and oversee accounts payable and receivable. I love the way my work allows me to stay connected to our clients and establish strong lines of communication and trust. Outside of work, one of my passions is food! I can never resist anything that combines cheese and potatoes. During my downtime, I love watching crime series that keep me on the edge of my seat. I really appreciate the comfort of home and happily identify as a "homebody," enjoying the simple pleasures of relaxation and solitude. One of the defining aspects of my Filipino culture is our unwavering commitment to hospitality. We embrace the value of making our guests feel welcome and extend a helping hand whenever needed. This warm and inclusive nature is deeply ingrained in me and influences how I approach both my personal and professional relationships.

Behind every great company is a brilliant Admin Extraordinaire. As NumberGroups Administrator, I love the thrill of endless learning opportunities presented to me every single day. Being task driven I love the interaction my job gives with the whole team. I really value building working relationships as I see a direct correlation in great working environments and the success of a company. I love the team at NumberGroup, everyone is always happy to help, and you can feel their genuine support and it has helped me grow in my role. As a Filipino, I love that my culture is known for our unyielding eagerness to help anyone who needs it. As an Administrator, my willingness to help is a key area of strength, giving my colleagues trust that when I’m on the job, things get done! When I’m not working, I love reading and I could listen to almost any genre of music. I love my dog, reading and my daily yoga and can’t pass up a true crime podcast. I also love a good day time nap.
