My journey both personal and professional has been anchored by family and friendship. I continue to be in awe with the calibre of the people around me. We started NG when we saw a gap in the market catering to a new wave of business owners who were coming onto the scene. We are passionate about our work at NumberGroup and wanted to build a business to support our drive and to share our knowledge with others. I love that every day I get to work with clients who are passionate about their businesses and are always looking ahead and striving for success. I’m proud that my team and I can communicate often complex matters in a user-friendly way. I love people and business planning, working closely with our clients makes coming to work everyday fun and enjoyable! People are often surprised to hear that I am a dad to 3 (soon to be 4) small humans. It goes without saying that I spend all my free time chasing kids and taking instructions from my wife. I am proud of the diverse makeup of our team. In our current climate, I see a real benefit in having staff from an array of backgrounds who are located across the globe. Modern technology has rewarded NumberGroup with the ‘best of the best in staff’, regardless of their physical location. We’re so excited about the future at NumberGroup!

NumberGroup started when Hairul and I met at college. We were both ambitious and ready for an adventure. We wanted to build our business around sustainable relationships with our clients and prioritise ethics, culture, and respect. We knew very early that the virtual world was a reality and we needed to be available to our clients whenever they needed help. We are proud to provide a unique experience to our clients where they can contact their accountant or our admin staff in real time and our team are 100% client focussed. We now have an office in Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, and the Philippines and continue to grow with our focus still on building trust and providing a niche service to our clients. I’ve lived in Canberra all my life and love that everything is 15 minutes away from me. It has a beautiful small town feel with all the convenience and glamour of city living. I love working with people from all walks of life and really appreciate how our clients use their life experience to build their businesses and we love watching our clients’ businesses grow. This has been particularly rewarding as it’s enabled our business and team to grow too.

As Practice Manager at NumberGroup, I’m best described as the superglue in our team. I work closely with the managing partners, clients, and our very focussed accounting team. I thrive in a fast-paced environment and I’m at my best when juggling a multitude of diverse tasks. I’m obsessed with staying organised and making my clients and colleagues lives easier. I’m the person people come to when they’re not sure what to do, and I love that detail in my job. We have a brilliant cohesive team where each of us play an integral part, working closely, ensuring our clients and each other are our top priority. It’s very transparent that we’re always striving to be at our best. I live in Melbourne and enjoy an active social life. I love spending time with my family and dining out with friends. I love my quiet times at home with my family, reading, sewing, or crafting. My guilty pleasure is watching K-Drama.

I work in the engine room of our business in Client Relations, Workflow and Project management. NumberGroup is a savvy and fast-growing accounting practice with a diverse team working seamlessly and remotely. I love working with people and enjoy their idiosyncrasies. I’m keen to see the solution inside a challenge and this is a key contributor to workflow and client management. I live in Gippsland, Victoria and I love that my rural outlook reminds me of my favourite film, Lord of the Rings. Originally from India, I’ve lived in Melbourne most of my life. My family and I live on 2 acres self-sufficiently, surrounded by 680 acres of dairy country.

I like to think that I’m a penny pincher! I enjoy keeping clients’ money in their pockets and away from the tax man, and I think that my clients appreciate me for it. I relish the diversity at NumberGroup, but the team would probably say that I’m the devil when it comes to my reviews of the Financial Statements, Tax Returns and Tax Advice we prepare for clients. Behind the scenes, I’m also the guy that enjoys researching new government legislation and regulations to keep our team and our clients up to date with all the latest developments. If we stick to stereotypes, I think that long hours and helping others is probably in my genes. Originally from Indonesia, I currently live in Coogee with the beach at my doorstep. Although this is very convenient in Summer, I do have to keep a close watch for tsunamis, pirates and Godzilla. In my free time I’m also a keen supporter of Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund, and I often find myself backing the dark horses of both the sports and business worlds.

I love being challenged and NumberGroup has consistently done this whilst nurturing me. As an Associate Accountant I have been given countless learning opportunities and wonderful friendships my colleagues generously share with me. I’m very detail oriented and understand how important my work is to my clients’ lives. I really value the teamwork in my organisation, we have a shared goal of valuing and respecting each other and our clients. My strong sense of ethics and integrity are a big part of my personality. I came to Australia when I was young, and the multi-cultural aspects of Australian life has really shaped me. I love living in Sydney and love going to the beach and parks with my son and husband. I love shopping, coffee, poke bowls and seafood. I tend rely on the weather for inspiration, when It’s hot I love the beach and a book when it’s cold I go for a walk or my favourite café.

As a Bookkeeper at NumberGroup, my days are busy and varied. I take care of our clients’ reconciliations, payroll management, and oversee accounts payable and receivable. I love the way my work allows me to stay connected to our clients and establish strong lines of communication and trust. Outside of work, one of my passions is food! I can never resist anything that combines cheese and potatoes. During my downtime, I love watching crime series that keep me on the edge of my seat. I really appreciate the comfort of home and happily identify as a "homebody," enjoying the simple pleasures of relaxation and solitude. One of the defining aspects of my Filipino culture is our unwavering commitment to hospitality. We embrace the value of making our guests feel welcome and extend a helping hand whenever needed. This warm and inclusive nature is deeply ingrained in me and influences how I approach both my personal and professional relationships.
